BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man is in stable condition after getting shot while driving down the street Thursday night.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said the unidentified victim arrived at Earl K. Long Hospital around 10:15 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police said he arrived there by private vehicle, but did not indicate if he drove himself or was taken there by someone else. His injury is considered moderate.
Detectives later learned the man was shot while driving on North Foster Drive near Linden Street.
The hospital is scheduled to close Monday, but will stop accepting emergency room patients Sunday night.
There has been no information on a suspect.
