100 pounds of marijuana, guns and cash seized in drug bust

BAKER, LA (WAFB) -

The Baker Police Department released more information during a 4 p.m. news conference about a major drug bust that happened in Baker, Louisiana.

More than 100 pounds of marijuana, guns and cash were seized during the bust. The bust happened in the 11000 block of Plank Road.

Lawrence LeBlanc had previously been arrested by the Delta Task Force. After a long investigation and tips of narcotics at the home, officers were able to obtain enough information to run an early morning search warrant.

Officers found a large amount of narcotics along with several firearms, according to Baker Police. One of the firearms was stolen out of Ascension Parish. Officers also seized about 100 pounds of marijuana, three bottles of anabolic steroids, a bottle of Loratab pills, drug paraphernalia and $5,000 in cash.

Officers arrested Stephanie Davis, Elzy Hollis, and Lawrence LeBlanc during the drug bust.
