Woman injured in downtown Nashville wreck

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Nashville woman was rushed to the hospital after a serious wreck downtown Wednesday night.

The crash happened at the intersection of Second Avenue North and Joe Johnson Avenue around 9:30 p.m.

Police said the woman lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a telephone pole.

She's in critical condition, but police said she'll likely survive her injuries.
