LSU batted around in a five-run first inning for all the runs it would need against Kentucky ace Corey Littrell, earning a sweep of the Wildcats with an 11-4 victory on Sunday at Alex Box Stadium.
Alex Bregman extended his hitting streak to 20 games with an RBI triple to start the scoring and Jacoby Jones capped the rally with a two-run homer as the Tigers scored nine unanswered runs after UK jumped on Cody Glenn for a quick score in the top half of the first.
LSU extended its win streak to 12 games and its best-ever start to 30-2 (11-1 SEC) with the victory going to Glenn.
