Nearly 20 years after fatal crash, man still hasn't served sentence

A judge issued a restraining order this morning to prevent the release of a Zachary woman's cell phone records in a case involving former Police Chief Dewayne White.  City leaders say White never returned his cell phone after he was fired.  BRPD got a warrant last week and searched the woman's home after pulling records from the city-issued phone.  WAFB's Kiran Chawla will have more tonight on 9News at 5.

A man was sentenced in 1995 to serve two years in prison after a crash that killed an infant.  17 years later, the man still hasn't served a day of his sentence.  WAFB's Cheryl Mercedes will have the complete story on 9News at 6.
