Livingston Parish residents tired of flood water in their backyards

Dozens of people gathered today to celebrate the anniversary of a historic day in the Baton Rouge civil rights movement.  WAFB's Kelsey Davis will have more on the Kress Gallery sit-in tonight on 9News at 5.

Some residents in southern Livingston Parish say that water is being pumped from Ascension Parish into their back yards.  WAFB's Cheryl Mercedes spoke with Livingston President Layton Ricks about what is being done to solve residents' flooding problems and will have more tonight on 9News at 6.
