GLOSTER, MS (WAFB) -

A man with two felony warrants already out for him for aggravated assault is now behind bars on a number of other charges.

While Deputies were searching for the man at the home where he was staying, a search warrant was issued and they found three kilos of cocaine, four pounds of marijuana, six guns and an undetermined amount of cash.

The Amite County Sheriff's Office said 32-year-old Cary Antwan Thompson of Gloster, MS was not there during the search. Tips led deputies to a convenience store Monday where Thompson was arrested.

Thompson is now charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and six counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics assisted the sheriff's office in this investigation.
