A man sought in the fatal strangulation and beating of his wife in Indiana was arrested at a homeless shelter in downtown Phoenix.

The U.S. Marshals Service issued an arrest warrant for 45-year-old Troy Shawn Meyers on Friday for the killing of his wife Shannon Meyers in September 2012 in Indiana.

Meyers and his wife were fighting in September of 2012 when Meyers beat and straggled his wife which lead to her death.

He found a family of 11 in Prairie, Mississippi, all coming home for Thanksgiving. All nine children had memories of a sharecropper's cabin and nothing to wear and nothing to eat. All nine are college graduates.
