A fundraiser was held on Monday for a local soldier wounded in Afghanistan.

Pfc. Brett Bondurant lost both legs in September 2011, right before he and his wife London were to get married.

The couple has spent most of their time in San Antonio, Texas for Bondurant's rehabilitation.

On Monday, a fundraiser was held at Skyline Chili in Lawrenceburg to welcome home Brett and his wife.

The event also served as a fundraiser to help the Bondurant's build a new home, as part of the 'Homes for our Troops' organization.
