EBR Councilwoman interested in expanding city limits

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Metro Council member C. Denise Marcelle is working with EBR Parish attorney's to find out what is required to expand the Baton Rouge city limits.

Marcelle says she is interested in incorporating areas such as the Towne Center shopping center and the Gardere area. Areas outside of the four EBR Parish municipalities of Baton Rouge, Zachary, Baker and Central are considered unincorporated.
