If there's one place you've probably experienced sticker shock, it's at the pharmacy counter. But there's a new iPhone app to help fight those ever-fluctuating prescription prices.
LowRx is a free download in the App Store. It works as a virtual discount prescription card and promises to save users up to 75% off medications. Users get a free barcode that can be used an unlimited number of times at any pharmacy. It works regardless of insurance coverage.
An Android version is in the works, but a smartphone is not even required. A printable version of the card can be found at LowRxCard.com. It's also good for unlimited use...even by other friends or family members.
