Indiana State Police
Detectives solved a cold case murder after thirty years.
On October 19th, 1983, Johnny Hodge, 34, an inmate at the Indiana State Prison was murdered in his cell. Hodge was serving a life sentence for a double murder at the time.
On Tuesday, Paul D. Stucker, 52 of Scottsburg, Indiana, was arrested in Louisiana. Stucker was an inmate in the prison at the same time as Hodge's murder. A warrant for his arrest was issued by U.S. Marshalls in New Orleans for a felony murder charge.
Stucker was taken to the Jefferson Parrish Sheriff's Department Jail in Louisiana awaiting extradition back to Indiana.
