Veteran searching for missing therapy dog

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A disabled veteran is hoping for some help finding his therapy dog.

Joe Wright says he last saw his four-legged friend Thursday while running an errand in Concord Estates.

Wright says three years ago, he was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder and was given the dog as a way to keep his mind off things and relax.

"She's used as a therapy dog and right now, I can't sleep at night," said Wright.  "My mother's worried like we lost a family member.  She is a family member and I just want her back."

Wright says there are posters all over the Concord Estates neighborhood and on Germantown Road, the street where she was last seen.
