OLIVE BRANCH, MS -
(WMC-TV) – It's the latest sensation on the internet, a prank teenage boys seem to like. Now, four teens are likely crying over spilled milk.
The general reaction we got when we showed Olive Branch residents the current rage on YouTube was shock.
Video of people throwing gallon containers of milk in the air than sliding to the ground as people come up to help them even though they are not hurt.
"I think that's kind of crazy," said Charlie Wright. "People are always looking for new things to come up with some dance especially people in high school. Some kind of thing to get recognitions."
Especially for three juveniles and one adult in Olive Branch who police say pulled off the prank at a Walmart. Olive Branch police arrested them for disorderly conduct on aisle 24 at that Walmart.
A police report says one male threw two gallons of milk in the air then all four males started sliding in the milk. They said they wanted to put the stunt on the internet.
Reactions we received ranged from "very stupid" to "this is ridiculous".
While most people thought it was dumb, they didn't think the teens should have been arrested.
"Obviously it's inappropriate," said Brooke Davis. "I have a 13-year-old and I know kids will be kids, yeah. Their parents should have made them clean it up and do some kind of community service."
Leatrice Kimmons knows what she would do to her son.
"He knows I'd beat him (heh heh) he knows better," said Kimmons.
We wanted to talk with Olive Branch police about the arrests but were told no one was available this afternoon for an interview.
