NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) -
The search
continues to intensify for a missing teacher, nearly two weeks after she
disappeared.
The family
of Terrilynn Monette, 26, is desperate to find her. She is a teacher in
Jefferson Parish.
She was
last seen with friends at Parlay's Bar on March 2nd celebrating her nomination
for teacher of the year. Police say she went to take a nap in her car before
going home. Her mother believes someone may now be holding her captive.
"I
just want them to know to please bring my baby back home to me, please,"
said Toni Enclade. "It's very hard. It's very hard. Can you … I can't
sleep at night. I can't sleep at night. I can't eat. I keep thinking about my
child and where she could be. I just want her back. So please, if you are
watching this, please bring Terrilynn home. Please, that's all I want. I want
her home."
Hundreds of
volunteers and police continue to scour the New Orleans area looking for Monette,
but so far, they have found no clues.
Authorities
said she was seen talking to an unidentified man in the parking lot of the bar
the night she disappeared, but that man has been interviewed and is not
considered a suspect.
