NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A woman is accused of stealing some pricey boots during the taping of a commercial at a downtown boot store.

The commercial was being shot at Nashville Cowboy, a boot shop on lower Broadway.

After the segment was taped, the owner of the shop realized about five pairs of boots had been stolen that were worth about $2,000.

The commercial shoot happened Feb. 24, but it wasn't until later he discovered the boots that were on display had been taken.

Store surveillance video showed a woman who was on the catering staff for the commercial shoot took the boots.

Christina Desmarais was arrested Tuesday night and faces theft charges.
