INGREDIENTS
1 package Tony's dirty rice mix
1 package refrigerated pie crust
PROCEDURE
- Prepare dirty rice according to package directions. Let cool
- Lay one pie crust on a clean working surface. Cut on seams into four pieces. Roll each piece out slightly for a more rounded shape.
- Place 1/2 cup rice mix into center of crust, fold crust over and seal with your fingers. Place on sheet pan and repeat.
- Place in freezer to a hard chill. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- After cooling, place in sealed freezer bags for your kids to later take out of the freezer and heat up in the microwave or toaster oven.
