MARSHALL, TX (KSLA) -
Marshall Police have released surveillance video and images of 'persons of interest' in the fatal shooting early Friday morning of 28-year-old David James Cherry.
The video, which appears to show a man and a woman entering the home entering and leaving the home several times between 1 a.m. and 1:40 a.m.
Police were alerted to the apparent homicide when dispatchers received a 911 call at 1:27 a.m. from someone reporting a man was inside the home at 501 Georgetown Rd. with blood on him. The caller told dispatchers they were unable to get the man to come to the door.
Police arrived to find Cherry inside, dead from a single gunshot wound to the head.
Police point out that the video was shot with an infra-red camera, making the color of the subjects and their clothing appear lighter.
The Marshall Police Department is asking the public for any information on this fatal shooting to please contact the Marshall Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division at 903-935-4540.
