Man pulled over for loud music, facing drug charges

BAKER, LA (WAFB) -

A suspected drug dealer is off the streets thanks to his car stereo.

According to reports, Travis Barton, 27, was pulled over for violating Baker's loud music ordinance.

Police say Barton admitted to having drugs in both his car and home.

Officers found marijuana, hydrocodone pills, a rifle, a handgun, an assault rifle and more than $14,000 in cash.

Barton has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, three counts of possession of hydrocodone, three counts of possession of firearms with CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.
