EAST FELICIANA PARISH, LA (WAFB) -
A fatal crash in East Feliciana Parish Tuesday afternoon took the life of a Clinton, LA resident.
The crash happened just after 1:30 p.m. on LA Hwy 67, south of LA Hwy 423. The crash took the life of 55-year-old Lionel Terrell.
State Police troopers say Terrell was driving a 1998 Honda Civic northbound on LA Hwy 67 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle ran off the roadway to the left. The car went into the ditch and hit two trees.
Troopers say Terrell was not wearing a seatbelt. Driver impairment is unknown at this time; however, Troopers have submitted a toxicology sample from Terrell to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
