SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Gusty winds brought a large fast food sign down onto a car in West Shreveport Monday morning.
It happened at the KFC in the 6800 block of Pines Road around 10 a.m.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Winds have been gusting out of the south in excess of 30 mph across the ArkLaTex, with steady winds of 25 - 28 mph.
Lake wind advisories are in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Along with signs, tree limbs are likely to be brought down by these gusts, causing scattered power outages.
But as of 10 p.m., AEP SWEPCO reported no customers without power in Caddo, Bossier and Red River parishes.
