Police are investigating a shooting in East Toledo Saturday evening.
A man was found shot in an SUV in the parking lot of Walgreens on the 900 block of Woodville Road around 7:30pm.
36 year-old Jason Yates told Toledo News Now he was shot at the Weiler homes on Leach Ave. during an alleged robbery.
A suspect, 39 year-old Terrell Leech, is in custody at the Lucas County Jail and will be charged with felonious assault, aggravated robbery and abduction.
Mr. Yates made his way to Walgreens where he called 911.
He was taken by ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his shoulder and released.
Police say Mr. Yates and Mr. Leech know each other and the incident was an argument over money.
