Couple accused of making meth in home

KENTWOOD, LA (WAFB) -

A husband and wife suspected of cooking meth in their home were arrested Wednesday.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said Christopher Blackmon, 39, and his wife, Sharon, 41, were taken into custody after a search of their Kentwood home.

Deputies said the search revealed the couple was manufacturing methamphetamine inside the house.

Investigators added they also found drug paraphernalia, like scales and packing materials.

Christopher Blackmon is charged with the manufacturing of methamphetamine, possession of CDS V, possession of CDS II and a parole violation. He remains locked up on a $200,000 bond.

Sharon Blackmon faces charges of the manufacturing of methamphetamine, possession of CDS V and possession of CDS II. TPSO reported she was released on a $200,000 bond. Her picture was not provided.
