BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Police have released the name of the man who was found shot to death in an SUV late Wednesday night.
The Baton Rouge Police Department identified him as Tivon Tarvin, 34, of Baton Rouge.
Detectives said they still don't know why Tarvin was killed and gave no information about a possible suspect.
Tarvin was found dead in the driver's seat of a gray Hyundai Santa Fe around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
The vehicle was in the 1500 block of Spain Street in Baton Rouge.
Anyone with information about the case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
