PARKVILLE, MO (KCTV) -
Most man caves are in a nice, warm house, but a group of guys in the Northland have built one out of ice.
Cliff Trager and a handful of friends and neighbors in the Thousand Oaks subdivision near Highway 45 in Parkville spent about eight hours Monday building their man cave.
They used a snow plow to build a large snow pile and hollowed it out using small shovels. They then used a hose to soak the igloo to make the exterior freeze and harden.
They decided to build it to cheer up the neighborhood during the winter storms. The igloo can hold about 14 adults comfortably.
The men even found a way to get electricity inside to watch movies. They say neighborhood children use the igloo during the day and adults enjoy hanging out at night.
Many neighbors have even stopped by to take pictures of the igloo.
