Increased seismic activity halts work at giant Louisiana sinkhole

Finally the rain has moved out and the sun is shining. However, the rest of this week and into the weekend, you may need to grab your coat as you put away the umbrella. The WAFB Storm Team will have the details on 9News at 5, 6, and 10.

Work on the giant Louisiana sinkhole in Bayou Corne is on hold after seismic monitoring in the area indicated an increase in underground fluid movement.  Officials say the movement is likely connected with trees falling into the sinkhole.  Watch 9News at 5 for the latest on this developing story.

A man says someone used his information to file a tax return and receive a refund.  He says the IRS agrees, but they can't give him his refund.  WAFB's Jim Shannon will have more tonight on 9News at 6.
