BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
The head of
Louisiana State Police is representing the US in a conference in Jerusalem this
week.
Col. Mike
Edmonson was selected, along with 15 other police executives, because of his position
with the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
The group
is meeting with the Jewish Institute of National Security Affairs, visiting all
of the holy sites and learning how they are guarded.
Edmonson is
learning how Israel gathers intelligence information and how that impacts the
rest of the world.
Israel is,
of course, well known for its terrorism policing.
