BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Gov. Bobby Jindal is speaking out against the president again, this time concerning the automatic spending cuts about to take effect.
"We're talking about less than three percent," said Jindal. "We're talking about a federal budget that's still going to grow. And, let's be clear about this, only in Washington, D.C. is that a cut. You ask any American out there is there at least three
percent of the federal budget that is being wasted today."
Congress has until Friday to prevent the cuts which have the potential to clog air travel, reduce education funding and furlough hundreds of thousands of government workers.
