ST. BERNARD, OH (FOX19) -
Two suspects are on the loose following an armed home invasion robbery.
Officers were called to 550 Rose Hill Avenue on Sunday on reports of a home invasion robbery in progress. The homeowners told officials that at least two armed black males entered the residence, tied the male homeowner up with zip ties and pistol-whipped him in the face. The female victim and her 8-year-old daughter were ordered to the kitchen but were able to flee to the first floor. A teenage son was on the third floor at the time.
The two suspects were last seen fleeing north through the backyards towards Church Street.
Officers checked the scene for evidence where they found cocaine and drug paraphernalia in the dresser of the homeowner. A search warrant was obtained and executed. Jason England, 38, told officers that he was given approximately 10g of cocaine to sell and make some money.
England was arrested for felony drug abuse, trafficking drugs, drug paraphernalia and two counts of child endangerment. He was transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
Police believe the home invasion robbery to be directly linked to the drugs and paraphernalia found in England's home.
The K9 units were unable to track the original two suspects.
England is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center and is scheduled to be in court on Tuesday morning.
