BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Louisiana State Troopers investigated a three-vehicle crash on US Highway 190 that left one person dead.
The crash happened Saturday around 8 p.m. on Highway 190, west of Basile.
The victim was 26-year-old Dwayne Griffin.
Troopers say Griffin was driving on the highway when his vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a Dodge truck and then hit a Lincoln SUV. Griffin was not wearing his seatbelt. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
It is unknown at this time if impairment was a factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
