BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) -
Investigators have identified a body that was found Friday evening in Clermont County.
Police say the body was found in a wooded area of Batavia, near an isolated section of Old 74, just off State Route 32. A witness stated he was looking for his dog and came upon a tent that had a deceased person inside.
The Hamilton County Coroner's Office was able to identify the man using past medical records. He has been identified as Eugene Woodruff, who was reported missing in October of 2011.
The Hamilton County Coroner's Office reported that there was no trauma detected on the body and the cause of death has been ruled "undetermined."
Police are shutting down SR 32 in the area from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to continue the investigation.
