NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police reports obtained by the Channel 4 I-Team show another Middle Tennessee cleaning company accused of stealing from the people who hired them to clean.

It comes after the Channel 4 I-Team's hidden cameras, set up in an apartment, exposed the owner of IGB Residential Cleaning Services, Zach Jones, digging through drawers and a closet to find jewelry.

Jones is now also charged with stealing the I-Team's hidden cameras, after we hired him to clean an apartment. The I-Team uncovered he has a criminal background including theft.

Now, the Channel 4 I-Team has learned another cleaning company, Stars and Stripes, is accused of stealing from customers. The owner also has a criminal background as well.

The owner of that company, Jermie England, broke down in tears when questioned about it by chief investigative reporter Jeremy Finley.

"I'm really trying to do the best that I can," England said.

England said his former employee, Derek Goodgine, was responsible the thefts. England said after two customers complained, he fired Goodgine.

"I'm the owner. I get personally involved with my workers. That's what makes it harder," England said.

Goodgine is charged with theft from a home in Dickson. The police report shows Googine cleaned and then stole a jar of silver change.

"I told her (the customer), contact the police. I didn't take my guy's side. I said, 'call police,'" England said.

The Channel 4 I-Team also uncovered that England himself has a criminal record out of Florida, including grand theft, scheme to defraud and fraudulent use of a credit card.

"Now you're running a company accused of theft. Is that suspicious?" Finley asked.

"For years, I was doing bad stuff. And it finally caught up with me. And one day he (Goodgine), will have to be held accountable, he's just going down the wrong road," England said.

The Nashville Better Business Bureau of Nashville is now warning potential customers about Stars and Stripes, stating they have received nearly 20 complaints about bait and switch schemes and theft.

"This company goes from providing a service to alleged criminal activity," said Kathleen Calligan, BBB CEO.

"The BBB says your company needs to clean up its act," Finley said.

"I think, in years past, that's correct," England said.

Dickson police said they have a warrant out for Goodgine.
