Several Louisiana air traffic control centers could close

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Six Louisiana air traffic control centers could see their hours cut back or closed if automatic federal spending cuts take effect next week.

Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport would have its overnight shift eliminated.

Air traffic control facilities at Chennault International and Lake Charles Regional in Lake Charles could be closed, as will as Shreveport Downtown, Monroe Regional and New Orleans' Lakefront.
