WASHINGTON, Feb. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- agencyQ, a leading digital agency based in Washington, DC announced today that Paul Danckaert has joined the firm as Chief Technology Officer, overseeing and supporting the technology and development team.
Mr. Danckaert has extensive expertise in technology and application development – from leading the Marine Corps Tactical Wireless Logistics analysis efforts and testing tactical radio and satellite systems for IT system deployment, to supporting the creation of SAFEBETS, a methodology and solution for simulating and staging the deployment of IT systems in highly variable environments.
Mr. Danckaert is joining agencyQ after serving as Chief Technology Officer/Principal Analyst at IR Technologies where he oversaw large scale projects including GCSS-MC – a Marine Corps ERP system for modernizing logistics worldwide through analysis of technical solutions, concept of employment, and the development of DoDAF artifacts. Mr. Danckaert worked on the redevelopment of the ATLASS unit supply management system used in garrison and tactical environments throughout the Corps. The system evolved into WebATLASS, a multi-user/multi-unit consolidated server used to centralize supply operations.
Previously, Mr. Danckaert served as Vice President of Technology & Technical Lead at Magnet Interactive and AKQA where he was responsible for providing tech solutions and software/systems architectures for clients including Dupont, Kellogg, Mayo Clinic, among others.
"Having Paul join the agencyQ team fundamentally changes how we approach technology solutions for our clients – and ourselves," said Stephen Marino, agencyQ's Chief Operating Officer. "Creative technologists who understand the agency world and client service are incredibly hard to come by, so having Paul join the agencyQ team allows us to act with a more disruptive, creative, and aggressive mindset in developing solutions for our clients than ever before."
As a technology veteran of 20+ years, Mr. Danckaert has re-imagined and supported an impressive spectrum of technical solutions. At agencyQ, Mr. Danckaert will be responsible for overseeing the development team's offerings while developing methodologies and solutions to meet and exceed the needs of agencyQ's clients. Mr. Danckaert will be a member of the agencyQ leadership team focused on the development and training of new technology implementations as well as expanding the development team's capabilities.
Danckaert's fascination with the intersection of concept and technology – in bringing systems and data together – will provide keen insight and leadership to Q's approach to technology solutions. "It is an exciting prospect to be working with the technology capabilities already on the agencyQ team," said Danckaert. "Technology is a means to an end, and that end has been the production of effective web and interactive solutions. I look forward to building on agencyQ's past success by creating new and innovative applications."
