LSU beats BYU 6-5

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The #3 LSU Tigers have defeated BYU 6-5 in very dramatic fashion at Alex Box Stadium.

Newcomer Christian Ibarra blasted a solo home run, with one out in the bottom of the ninth to tie the score 5-5. Then with the bases loaded, with still one out, senior star Raph Rhymes brought home the game-winning run on an RBI single to score Chris Sciambra.

With the win, the Tigers improve to 5-0 on the young season.
