Could hurricane tracking satellites fail?

Tonight on 9News at 5:  A judge ruled today that the Port Allen CFO will get to keep her job, even though the mayor fired her last week.  WAFB's Cheryl Mercedes will have more tonight at 5.

Several NOAA weather satellites could fail in the next year, but replacements won't be available until 2017.  In the meantime, the paths of strong hurricanes will be more difficult to track.  WAFB's Greg Meriwether will have more tonight on 9News at 6.
