How is it that 150 people can be present when someone is shot in a parking lot, yet no one comes forward with any useful information? A 9News report recently says that's exactly what happened in the small West Feliciana Parish town of Solitude more than two years ago.

Authorities are still looking for leads in the case where one man was killed and another left partially paralyzed. There were 150 people and no one saw anything? Crime Stoppers says people don't come forward for one of three reasons: fear of retaliation, a reluctance to get involved and sheer apathy.

However, unless people decide to get involved, some cases will never be solved. Crime Stoppers is a way to get involved anonymously and offers cash rewards for tips. And, the success rate is high. There's a 95 percent conviction rate when it comes to arrests resulting from Crime Stoppers tips.

It's also easier than ever to come forward with information. You can call, text or email. Even if you think you don't have a lot of information, it may be the critical break that police need.
