EAST FELICIANA PARISH, LA (WAFB) -
The East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for an inmate who escaped from his work release post Monday morning.
Deputies are looking for 39-year-old Frankie New.
Reports say he left his job around 8 a.m. at Elams Auto in Jackson, LA.
New was serving time for burglary and was to be released March 2014.
