EXCLUSIVE: Dog Chapman to appear on Hawaii Five-0 in March

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Duane "Dog" Chapman - will play himself in the March 18 episode of Hawaii Five-0 according to TV Guide.

Beth Chapman will also make an appearance on the show.

According the TV Guide, a body falls from the sky and lands on the Chapman's SUV and the 5-0 team is called in to investigate.

Hawaii News Now viewers report seeing the reality TV stars and the cast of 5-0 filming last week in the Kapahulu area.

In an exclusive statement to Hawaii News Now, Beth and Dog Chapman talk about the 5-0 experience. 

"Peter Lenkov did a great job, the episode is written brilliantly and plays nicely with the family business
I was stoked to be on it," said Dog. 

Beth Chapman said, "Alex O'Laughlin and Scott Caan are so talented. We had such a great time filming Hawaii 5-0, it was a fantastic experience and the folks there were very friendly and welcoming  to our whole family. "

In September, Country Music Television (CMT) ordered 10 one-hour episodes of a new series starring Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife Beth Chapman.  The series premiers in April.

Throughout the 10-episode series, the Chapmans will join forces with bail bondsmen from around the country in hunting down dangerous criminals.

CMT is asking fans to determine the title of the new series by submitting a name through the show's new Facebook page. The official title will be revealed Tuesday (Feb. 19) by Beth Chapman via @MrsdogC on Twitter.
