Rev. Damon Lynch Jr. honored at City Council meeting

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

As part of Black History Month, a prominent local African American will be recognized at each Cincinnati City Council meeting.

On Wednesday, Rev. Damon Lynch Junior was honored.

Rev. Lynch is a dedicated Civil Rights leader, and has served for 43 years as the pastor of New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

In 2012, he was even inducted into the Ohio Civil Rights Hall of Fame.

Rev. Damon Lynch Jr. is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and he has received many prestigious awards for this achievements across the country.
