Police identify body as Flagstaff man

FLAGSTAFF, AZ (CBS5) -

Police in Flagstaff have identified a body found near the Walmart store on Huntington Drive.

Officers said Alejandro James Montoya, 35, of Flagstaff died sometime before Feb. 7.

A citizen found his body and alerted two police officers around 8 p.m. that evening.

Investigators said it looked like Montoya used a small backpack as a pillow and curled up and went to sleep.

They didn't find any footprints around the body or any signs of foul play.

Now, detectives are working to figure out what caused Montoya's death.
