BAYOU CORNE, LA (WAFB) -
More land has fallen into the massive sinkhole plaguing south Louisiana.
Officials report about 5,000 square feet fell in on the southwest side of the sinkhole this week.
The change is not expected to affect nearby LA 70 in Assumption Parish.
Meanwhile, Texas Brine continues work on a containment berm to surround the sinkhole.
