BATON ROUGE – After posting the highest team score on the road in eight seasons in a 197.275-194.575 victory at Missouri, the LSU gymnastics team moved up one spot to No. 7 in the newest GymInfo rankings released Monday.
LSU (7-2, 3-1 SEC) increased its season average from a 196.290 to a 196.454 after earning the season high at Missouri.
In the team event rankings LSU jumped back into the No. 1 spot on floor with a 49.325 average after scoring a 49.500 at Missouri, highlighted by Lloimincia Hall's perfect 10.0. The Tigers held steady at No. 2 nationally in the vault standings with a 49.333 average, and LSU is No. 8 on beam with a 48.921 average and No. 17 on bars with a 48.875 average.
In the individual rankings, Rheagan Courville moved up five spots to No. 13 in the all-around with a 39.325 average after she posted a career-high 39.600 to win the title at Missouri. Kaleigh Dickson climbed four spots to No. 21 after earning a career-best 39.350 in the all-around at Missouri.
Courville ranks 14th on floor with a 9.879 average, 15th on beam with a 9.854 average and 23rd on vault with a 9.879 mark. Dickson ranks 15th on bars with a 9.858 average.
Sarie Morrison ranks in the top 10 in both events in which she competes, ranking No. 7 on bars with a 9.871 average and No. 9 on vault with a 9.894 mark.
Randi Lau is No. 7 on vault with a 9.90 average, and Jessie Jordan checked into the vault standings for the first time this season at No. 24 with a 9.875 average.
LSU returns to the Maravich Center for the first time since Jan. 11 when the Tigers play host to No. 20 Arkansas at 7 p.m. Friday.
