PHOENIX (CBS5) -
A man in police custody escaped from a Phoenix-area hospital Sunday after an officer guarding him became distracted, police said.
Officers are searching for Wadsworth Jennings who disappeared from Maricopa Medical Center at 2601 E. Roosevelt St.
Jennings, who was in the hospital for a medical procedure, pulled out his IV catheter and took off.
Jennings was arrested on Friday for a marijuana violation.
No other information is currently available.
