A four-year-old child found inside an active meth lab at a Springfield Township hotel.
Springfield Township police received information from Akron Police about a meth lab operating at the South Arlington Road Red Roof Inn. Officers responded and were able to locate and confirm an active methamphetamine lab in one of the hotel rooms.
Five suspects were arrested and charged with various felony drug charges. A four-year-old child, belonging to one of the suspects, was also located inside the room. The child was taken to Akron Children's Hospital for evaluation and is now in the custody of the Summit County Children's Services Board.
Yvette Ray, 39, Justin Delaney, 32, Jeffrey Guilliams, 40, Stacy Hervet, 39, and Edward Hervet, 39, are currently being held at the Summit County Jail. Other charges are pending in the case.
