BATON ROUGE – The LSU gymnastics team checked in at No. 8 in the GymInfo rankings released on Monday with a 196.290 season average.
LSU (6-2, 2-1 SEC) is coming off a 195.875-195.250 victory at then-No. 16 Kentucky in a meet that saw the Tigers sweep all four event titles and tie for the all-around crown.
In the team event rankings, LSU remained No. 2 nationally on vault with a 49.320 average, and the Tigers rank No. 4 on floor with a 49.290 average. LSU is No. 11 on beam at 48.875 and No. 16 on bars at 48.830.
In the individual rankings, Rheagan Courville is No. 18 in the all-around at 39.270, No. 16 on floor at 9.875 and No. 20 on beam at 9.845. Kaleigh Dickson is No. 25 in the all-around with a 39.213 average and No. 13 on bars at 9.863. Sarie Morrison ranks No. 6 on bars at 9.875, and she is No. 12 on vault with a 9.894 average. Randi Lau is No. 7 on vault with a 9.90 average.
The top five remained the same with Florida at No. 1 with a 197.135 average, Oklahoma second at 197.025, Michigan third at 196.855, UCLA fourth at 196.719 and Alabama fifth at 196.638. Georgia ranks sixth with a 196.492 average, followed by Utah at seven with a 196.319 mark, LSU eighth at 196.290, Nebraska ninth at 196.225 and Stanford 10th at 195.900.
