TUCSON, AZ (AP) -
A Tucson man has been given a 10-year-old prison sentence after pleading guilty to a weapons charge in a murder case.
Pima County prosecutors say 23-year-old Tyrone Wilson was sentenced Thursday. He faced a potential life sentence at one time.
The Arizona Daily Star says Wilson and a co-defendant were tried in December 2011 and August 2012 in the September 2010 shooting death of 36-year-old Kwange Baker.
The 2011 trial resulted in a hung jury for both men as did last year's trial for Wilson.
The other man was convicted and sentenced in December to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Wilson pleaded guilty in November to possessing prohibited weapons in exchange for dismissal of a first-degree murder charge.
Authorities say Wilson has two prior felony convictions.
