Friends and family members will hold a vigil Wednesday evening for DeAndre Nickerson, 19.
Nickerson was shot to death Tuesday afternoon at E. 131 and Austin Avenue.
Cleveland Police Officers say Nickerson was operating a vehicle with four passengers on Austin Avenue.
At E. 131 he was stopped for the stop sign when a gold Chrysler that was traveling behind him pulled around his vehicle and fired multiple shots into the Nickerson's car hitting him in the torso.
After the shooting, the suspect vehicle fled the scene northbound on E. 131.
EMS rushed Nickerson to Metro, where he died.
The vigil will be at the murder scene, E. 131 and Austin Avenue.
The Cleveland Division of Police is asking that anyone with information in c/w this incident to contact the Homicide Unit at 216.623.5464.
