SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
The Northwest Louisiana Food Bank is hoping you'll help with this year's Souper-Bowl of Caring.
All area Albertson's, Kroger and Brookshire's stores are taking part in the nationwide food drive leading up to Super Bowl Sunday.
"We get calls all the time. Food places like food bank. It's kind of a rough time right now. There's a need at this time," says Albertson's Manager Patrick Brewer.
Each store has pre-packaged assortments of canned and dry good for you to buy. The bags will be donated to the local food bank.
You can also drop off food donations in bins set up at each store.
The drive began on January 16 and will run until Super Bowl Sunday (February 3) at participating stores.
