BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Investigators have determined that a 10-year old male juvenile from Iberville Parish is responsible for leaving a threatening voice mail at St. Joseph's Academy school in Baton Rouge this weekend.
The child has been charged with terrorizing and released into the custody of his parents.
The boy has no known connection to the school and the motive for the threat is still unclear.
A robo-call went out Sunday night from the school's principal telling parents an anonymous person sent in some sort of threat to the school. The message said the school passed the threat on to BRPD and BRPD advised that it was safe to hold school Monday.
Extra security was provided at the school Monday. The message sent from the school also told parents to call the school if there were any questions. The number to call is 225-383-2240.
